About

I'm an engineering leader and full-stack developer with 8+ years of experience delivering scalable web, Android, and AI-powered products. I co-founded Designare Studio, a design and development agency where I've built, mentored, and led a 15-engineer team while shipping enterprise React/Next.js + Node/PostgreSQL solutions for clients ranging from startups to MNCs.

I'm hands-on with AI and use generative AI for code generation, testing, and documentation, cutting delivery time and costs. I recently launched SelectFlow, and I also advise companies on AI integration and automation. Earlier, I co-founded DeepStory, a short-form video app with ML-driven content recommendations, HLS streaming, and a Cloudflare video pipeline.

Before Designare, I spent 4 years as a freelance full-stack developer, delivering 20+ Android apps and backend systems end-to-end. I hold a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from M.S.I.T, Delhi.

Experience

Designare Studio Sep 2021 – Present
Co-founder & CTO

Designare Studio is where I learned how different engineering feels when people are depending on you every day. I started it as a design and development agency, then grew it into a 15-engineer team working across product builds, enterprise workflows, internal tools, and mobile apps.

My role sits between architecture, delivery, and team building. I still write code, review technical decisions, set up systems, talk to clients, and help engineers get unstuck. Most of the work has been React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase, cloud deployments, and the practical parts around them: auth, APIs, background jobs, logging, monitoring, releases, and production support.

The client work has covered startups and larger companies including InMobi, IQGEO, Voya India, Syncminds, Fabriclore, Stay Leisurely, Pure Energy, Lyfsum, ClassOn, and HealthyIQ. Some projects were clean product builds. Some were messy business systems that needed to connect sales, attribution, ERP flows, and operations without breaking what was already running.

Over time, I also started bringing AI into the way we build: code generation, tests, documentation, debugging, internal automation, and faster prototypes. Not as a replacement for engineering judgement, but as a way to remove the boring parts and ship with less drag.

DeepStory Jan 2022 – Present
Co-founder & CTO

DeepStory was my attempt at building a consumer product from the ground up instead of only building for clients. It started as a short-form video app with a different engagement hook, but the real lesson was the full product loop: build, ship, measure, watch users behave differently than expected, then change the system.

I built the native Android app in Kotlin and the backend in Node.js with PostgreSQL. The product grew to around 40k downloads and 10k monthly active users in a few months, which forced me to care about things that do not show up in a demo: video startup time, buffering, crash rate, notifications, analytics, moderation, and recommendation quality.

That work pulled me deeper into video infrastructure and ML-backed ranking. I used HLS, Cloudflare Stream, Firebase, background queues, rate limits, and a recommendation engine to make the app feel faster and more relevant. It was one of the projects that made production performance feel very real to me.

Freelance Jul 2017 – Aug 2021
Full-Stack Developer

I started as a freelance developer while I was still close to the Android ecosystem. Most projects were simple on paper: an app, an admin panel, a backend, payments, notifications, Play Store release. In practice, those projects taught me how to own the whole thing end to end.

I shipped more than 20 Android apps and supporting backend systems during this phase. I worked with Kotlin, Java, Firebase, Node.js, PostgreSQL, payment gateways, push notifications, crash analytics, and Play Store rollouts. I also spent time building custom graphics and 3D scenes with OpenGL ES, which made me comfortable working below the usual app layer when the product needed it.

Freelancing gave me the base I still use now: listen carefully, reduce vague requirements into something shippable, make clear tradeoffs, and take responsibility after the first version goes live.
